The arrival of COVID-19 has modified the way of working as we knew it until now. For this reason, it is important to know new trends and management strategies that help us to carry out our day-to-day activities in a responsible and sustainable way.

The Ethical Trading Forums organize a new specific online seminar to address this issue. This seminar will be offered by Soledad González, an experienced professional in corporate responsibility, consultant and chief auditor of environmental management systems, quality, and due diligence; with extensive international experience.

Soledad has a degree in Political Science and Administration with a Master’s degree in Development Studies. She started working in European NGOs for consumer protection and development aid, focusing her activity on EU policies. Later, she joined the Bureau Veritas European Affairs office in Brussels where she was in charge of monitoring European policies and regulations.

After that, she continued her professional career with Bureau Veritas in Spain, where she was responsible for developing the different areas of the business in Spain, in particular the certification and inspection services. Subsequently, she served as an independent consultant and chief auditor of management systems and social responsibility.

In 2013 she took over as Regional Director (EMEA) of Responsible Sourcing at UL, based in the UK. Since March 2019 Soledad is an independent Consultant and Chief Auditor, always in the UK.

This seminar will take place on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. (CEST) it will be delivered in Spanish and last around 90 minutes.
